Ladies’ Special … in the footsteps of famous women in Salzburg

Towards the end of the Middles Ages a woman called Barbara Thenn was manager of the Salzburg Mint, in the district nearby Irma von Troll-Borostyani – Salzburg’s first “suffragette” – began her career and her neighbour was Austria’s first famous oculist, Rosa Kerschbaumer-Putjata. We follow in the footsteps of a K+K harp virtuoso, a popular female portraitist and a woman who was always in great demand in Salzburg – the city mid-wife. Furthermore you will learn about very talented musicians called Maria Anna Ignazia Walpurga Mozart, alias “Nannerl”, Magdalena Lipp or Constance Lange.

Of course, along the way, I will show you traditional fashion shops, unique local art craft and trendy accessories.

We will take a close look at wrought iron signs in mediaeval streets and, to round off the walk, we will spoil ourselves with a well-deserved glass of sparkling wine in a fancy location!
